About Us
MEET METROPOLITAN
30+ years family owned and operated. The Metropolitan team brings decades of HVAC expertise to Southern Maryland.
A LEGACY OF COMFORT
Jason Pottier founded Metropolitan Heating & Cooling Specialist LLC in Dunkirk, Maryland with a simple mission: provide honest, reliable HVAC service to his neighbors at a fair price.
As a family-owned business for 30+ years, that mission hasn't changed. While the technology has evolved — from basic furnaces to smart thermostats and high-efficiency heat pumps — our commitment to integrity and craftsmanship remains the same.
We're not a franchise with a 1-800 number. When you call Metropolitan, you're talking to the people who will actually service your home. We know Calvert County because we live here. We understand the unique challenges of the Chesapeake Bay climate — the brutal humidity, the winter cold snaps, and everything in between.
Every technician on our team is trained, background-checked, and committed to the Metropolitan standard: upfront pricing, clean workmanship, and a home left better than we found it.
